The Book Creation Process

1. Contact a GCP Outreach Consultant at 1-877-96-REACH (73224), or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The consultant will send you a contract , the Authorization for Automatic Billing or the Credit Card Authorization Form and present your best options to survey your congregation.

2. Survey your church with the GCP survey. When surveying, take the time to help members think through the survey. You may want to combine this with a special message on the power of the testimony.

3. Select the surveys of the people you want to be interviewed by GCP. You should include a fairly even mix of genders and as wide a range of story themes as possible. Send us 12 to 14 surveys. Not all the surveys will be included in the book. The extra surveys will give us options if we are not able to make a connection with some of your congregants. Please prioritize the stories from 1 to 14 with the most desired survey starting at 1 and the most expendable at 14.

4. Fax or mail your surveys and a signed copy of your contract to

5. GCP will begin the process of producing your book.

6. GCP will call the people on your surveys and schedule a time for their interview with our professional writers.

7. After the interview has been conducted, our writers will write the story.

8. The story will be sent back for an accuracy check with the storyteller.

9. The story will be edited until we get approval from the storyteller.

10. The entire un-proofread manuscript will be sent to the person in charge at the church. He or she will then read the manuscript to assure that it accurately reflects your church's vision and values.

11. Once the manuscript has been approved by the person in charge at the church, we will then proofread, typeset and print the your new testimony book.

12. Once you have received your evaluation copies, use the GCP Pricing Calculator to plan the subscription that best suits your needs.

The minimum subscription cost per month is $250 per month based on 40 copies per month at $6.25 per book.

National Book

A National Book is the ideal evangelism solution for the smaller church that is either limited in quality stories or facing budget constraints.

A National Book contains two stories from your church. We then supplement with five stories from across the nation. This ensures that your book is loaded with high quality stories and saves you significantly in cost.

These books reflect the broad range of work that Jesus does in the hearts of people and will be invaluable for outreach, evangelism and assimilation.

The Cost for a National Book is

$750.00

and a minimuim subscription of 20 books per month for 36 months. (This can be accelerated or increased with a substantial reduction in the cost per book.)

The minimum subscription cost per month is $125.00 per month based on 20 copies per month at $6.25 per book.

Documents you need to begin the publishing process:

Contract to Publish a Local Church Book. (This book will contain seven custom-written stories from your church.)
Contract to Publish a National Book. (This book will contain two stories from your church. We supply five from our library. This book is ideal for smaller churches who may not have enough high quality stories or churches that face severe budget constraints.)
Testimony Survey. (This tool is used to survey your congregation and find the potential storytellers for your book.)
Authorization for Automatic Billing. (This document gives Good Catch Publishing authorization to bill your bank account for financial transactions. It acts as an automatic electronic check.)
Credit Card Authorization Form. (This document gives Good Catch Publishing authorization to bill your credit card for financial transactions. This is an alternative to the Authorization for Automatic Billing.)
